The libraries of the Duke of Bailén and the Marquis of Riscal are part of the ancient collection conserved in the Library of the National Institute of Health Management (INGESA). Both collections are being studied in parallel, considering that the nobles and bibliophiles shared for a time the residents known as the Palace of Portugalete, leaving their collections united in a magnificent well-differentiated collection. Due to historical circumstances, the complete collection passed to the State and is still preserved in the institution. The arduous task of bringing the two collections to light at the same time means that a double and meticulous job is carried out with the intention of closing the investigation, begun years ago, of the entire old collection of INGESA, so unknown to the most and at the same time so valuable.
