Characters’ vocal body compositions in A hero’s journey

This article discusses the work in a collaborative process with the members of the play A hero’s journey (A jornada de um herói) and the scenic construction related to the interpretive body-vocal preparation of the actors Mateus Amorim and Karen Menezes. There are 43 characters throughout the play, with their respective compositions. However, in this work, we selected the main characters with a more detailed description. This article is part of the study of the body and voice on stage, showing new experiences for the practice of actors and directors in their professional lives.
