This study emphasizes the analysis of the production of meaning in the theatrical scene through sound signs, exploring semiotic reflections in our thinking. In the analysis of the production of Auto da Compadecida by Ariano Suassuna, staged by the Seventh Class of Performing Arts at UFGD/MS in 2017, we seek to understand whether room and stage music as Sound Dramaturgy establishes relationships with cultural studies. Due to theatrical ephemerality, the research is conducted based on the play's video and analysis that examined, through semiotics, the contribution of sounds to other forms of dramaturgy. The study used theories from Peirce (2015), Santaella (2013), Maletta (2016), Lignelli (2020) and Tragtenberg (2008).
