This work is an interview with members of Clowns de Shakespeare, a theatre company from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. It discusses their pedagogical approach and the creative processes they have accomplished in partnership with the artist Ernani Maletta. The aim was to reflect on the connections between this company's work and the concepts of polyphony and polyphonic acting. The interview was recorded online in 2022 and then transcribed. The transcription intends to reproduce the specificities of oral talking, for it can maintain the spontaneous flow of a conversation. In this sense, the reader might have the feeling of hearing the artists interviewed speaking naturally.
