Considerar agroecossistemas como partes de paisagens multifuncionais alia agricultura à conservação ecológica e à biodiversidade, melhorando a matriz agrícola dominante e garantindo serviços agroecossistêmicos autônomos, como a polinização. Aqui, discutimos recentes insights da ecologia da polinização transferíveis à agricultura em diferentes escalas e necessidades sociais e econômicas.
