Abstract

The objective of study was to evaluate the ability of inoculation with a microbial consortium to promote the growth of arugula, carrots, and radishes. The vegetables seeds were sown directly on the bed and bathed with microbial inoculant or with distilled water (control). Inoculated samples showed an increase in root length, shoot length, width and number of leaves and total fresh mass. The results showed that the using of inoculant improves the growth of arugula, carrots, and radishes, being a sustainable alternative in the production of vegetables.
