Abstract

Focusing on sustainability the management turns the mainly factor for pasture maintenance and perennial, that will be used, and for this reason, for the conduction of grazing animals. For this scenario to take place, Voisin postulate four basic law, being the first in relation to the adequate Rest Timethat allow the plant to store in the root enough reserve for a new and vigorous regrowth. So, the second law emphasize that the total time of animal’s permanence in the paddock should be short enough to avoid that the plant could be grazed more than once, in the sameOccupation Time. The third law lookfor the Maximum Yield, so it is needed to help the animals that have the highest nutritional requirements, contributing to then to have a higher forage voluntary intake, both quantitative and qualitative. The fourth law search for the equilibrium, through the Constant Yield, in this meaning the animals should not remain more than tree days in the same paddock
