Refiro-me neste texto ao testamento de José Tavares, professor emérito da Universidade de Aveiro, da área da educação. Tavares reuniu 10 artigos de tom testamental, nos quais discute alguns desafios educacionais e epistemológicos de extrema relevância, dos quais vou ressaltar aqui dois: a postulação veemente de um novo modo de conhecer (pesquisa científica e epistemologia) e a conjugação de pesquisa e formação (educação).
