Impact and Evaluation of the "Madrid, Remember!" Project: Weaving Networks for the Digital Preservation of Civic Memory

This article presents the results and challenges faced by the students of the Faculty of Library and Information Science during the development of a service-learning project in collaboration with the Iván de Vargas Municipal Public Library. The main objective of the project was to revitalize the “Memory of the Neighborhoods” initiative, promoted by the Digital Library Memory of Madrid. Based on this experience, a series of recommendations are proposed to ensure long-term viability.
