The contribution of the school library to the pedagogical activities and consequently to the students' education, according to the teachers' perception, is the object of this study. The objective of this work was to analyze the perceptions of the teachers of Colégio Estadual Vitor Soares about the school library of that institution, in order to identify if and how this informational environment has contributed to their pedagogical activities. As for the methodology, it is a study of a descriptive nature and of a qualitative and quantitative nature, carried out through the method of case study, having as object of study the Library of Colégio Estadual Vitor Soares. For data collection, the technique of applying a questionnaire with the teachers and librarian of the aforementioned College was used. As a result, it was identified that the Vitor Soares State College Library contributes to the pedagogical activities carried out by the teachers, it was also identified that a significant part of the teachers collaborate to change the reality and the difficulties that arise in the Library. In addition, the importance of the Librarian for the Library and its contribution to the individual and collective development of the school community was highlighted. Thus, it is concluded that the perceptions presented in this work demonstrate the contribution of the school library to the training of students, through support for pedagogical activities, in addition to presenting itself as a welcoming and interaction space.
