Abstract

Apresenta os principais aspectos teóricos e metodológicos da área de planejamento e como ele é integrado às necessidades dos sistemas de informação. No contexto de evolução do planejamento, a pesquisa aponta os modelos referenciais e as variáveis ambientais que exercem pressão no processo de tomada de decisão tendo como ponto central as necessidades dos usuários. Finaliza indicando os elementos essenciais para o planejamento de sistemas de informação cujo objetivo a ser atendido deve observar a necessidade de monitoramento ambiental para atendimento da demanda.
