The soundstage of pod-dramas in the contemporary Brazilian perspective

The trend towards immersion in sound dramas indicates an emerging culture that has increasingly adapted to sound streaming platforms, enhancing a circuit that advocates the place of listening, rather than seeing. This article contextualizes the state of the art of audiodramatic language in contemporary times, starting from the analysis of some pod-dramas, sound shows and research works produced by Brazilian companies and artists between 2018-2022.
