Considering agroecosystems as parts of multifunctional landscapes combines agriculture with ecological conservation and biodiversity, improving the dominant agricultural matrix and guaranteeing autonomous agroecosystem services, such as pollination. Here, we discuss recent insights from pollination ecology transferable to agriculture at different scales and social and economic needs.
