Cartographies of Resistance for the Right to Land and Housing

Abstract

The analog collage sought to illustrate the movements of struggle and resistance for land rights and access to housing in Brazil. Considering a historical context of land and environmental conflicts, as well as the markers of identity of race, ethnicity, class and gender, the cartography of resistance explores the paths of struggle for life with dignity, through the organization of popular demonstrations or through justice institutions and public policies, both in the city and in the countryside.
