Abstract

Se a violência é a parteira da história e escorre
sangue quando uma nova era está sendo parida,
isso significa não só que é preciso repensar o pacifismo
como uma forma de conservadorismo. Há
situações em que é preciso não recuar mais, para
não ser destruído. Um governo popular não imaginar
que oligarquias não possam tentar tomar o
poder até mediante um golpe de Estado é não ter a
cautela suficiente para, mais que se manter no poder,
preservar os valores que o fizeram chegar ao
governo. Estar no governo não é necessariamente
ter poder. Quem perde o poder é condenado pela
história, seja como vilão, incompetente ou indigno
de ser lembrado. Ele não será lembrado como
alguém que perdeu o poder por méritos. Quem se
mete em política tem de assumir que nela imperam
regras outras que não as de um cerimonial
palaciano.

Author Biographies

Aline Zim

PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from the PPG of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Brasília (2018) in Theory, History and Criticism, in the Line of Aesthetics, hermeneutics and semiotics. Master's degree from the PPG of the Faculty of Education of the University of Brasília (2008) in Education, Art and Communication. Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2001). He has experience in renovation projects and interior architecture. He worked at the Architecture and Urbanism Center (NAU), linked to the Extension Center of the Catholic University of Brasília (UCB), and on the Olhares sobre Brasília project, linked to the Architecture and Urbanism Observatory Research Project (OAU/UCB). She was part of the organization team for the I Jornadas Brasília Patrimônio Cultural 2013, II Jornadas Brasília Patrimônio Cultural 2014, Exhibition Olhares sobre Brasília at MAMB 2013, Regards sur Brasília - MAL Paris 2015. She is currently a professor of the subjects of Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism , Project, Landscape and Semiotics, Diploma I. She was a professor, coordinator and researcher on the Architecture and Urban Planning course at the Catholic University of Brasília. He is part of the Aesthetics, Hermeneutics and Semiotics Center (NEHS) and the Hybrid Landscapes research group at EBA/UFRJ. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Journal of Aesthetics, Hermeneutics and Semiotics (RES) at the PPG of FAU/UnB and of the editorial board of the Journal of Architecture: City and Housing of UniCEUB. He is a member of Icomos Brasil and the Scientific Technical Council of the Mural Art Committee and the Scientific Initiation Committee of the Centro Universitário de Brasília (CEUB). Professor and researcher in the Master's Program in Architecture and Urbanism at the Centro Universitário de Brasília (CEUB) in the Research Line in Theory, History and Design in Housing. Leader of the Brasília Research Group: architecture, housing and urban space. Substitute professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Brasília.

Carolina Borges

Carolina Borges has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from PUC-GO, a master's degree and a doctorate in the Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism from FAU-UnB, with an interstice at the Università degli Studi di Palermo. She is a professor on the Architecture and Urbanism course at the Catholic University of Brasília, teaching the subjects of Theory and History of Art, Architecture and Urbanism and Architectural Design.

Fernando Fuão

Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Pelotas (1980), PhD in Text and Context Architecture Projects from the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona-UPC (1987-92) with the thesis Architecture as Collage, Post-Doctor from the Postgraduate in Philosophy-UERJ under the supervision of Philosopher Dr. Dirce Solis (2011-12). Full Professor at the Faculty of Architecture. (UFRGS).

Flávio René Kothe

He has a master's degree (FU-Berlin), doctorate (USP) and professorship (PUCCAMP) in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature. He was a guest professor at the Universities of Rostock, UFRGS and the Institute of Advanced Studies at USP, and is currently a full professor of Aesthetics at the University of Brasília, coordinator of the Center for Aesthetics, Hermeneutics and Semiotics at FAU/UnB, president of the Brazilian Academy of Letters . He is the author of more than 40 books and 450 publications as an essayist, translator, fiction writer and poet.
