Abstract

The purpose of this text is to demonstrate that it has been primarily through the writing of female authorship that the woman, over
time, has becoming aware of itself and has imposed upon others as being equal. Assuming the French philosopher and mathematician
René Descartes’ premise “Cogito, ergo sum” (I think, therefore I am) I build my own premise “I write, therefore I am” that embodies
the role of writing in the emancipator process of women and their access to power through the word.
