ENEM and PISA scores and absence of school libraries in Brazil

The editorial comments on the importance of the school library in the Brazilian context. It points out that the poor results obtained by students in ENEM and PISA exams may be correlated with the absence of the library in the school context. In addition, the articles published in the first issue of 2020 of the Ibero-American Journal of Information Science are commented.
