PRODUÇÃO TEXTUAL ATRAVÉS DO GENERO CARTÃO POSTAL: UMA PROPOSTA DE PROFESSORES EM FORMAÇÃO INICIAL DE LÍNGUA INGLESA

Abstract

Given the difficulty in raising the interest of the students while seeking knowledge, this work has the main objective to analyze the use of a didactic sequence (SD) as a pedagogical tool that allowed for public school students meaningful learning in reference to the work with textual genres. The project was developed in a school of basic education during the regency of Supervised Internship. The classes were taught in a class of 1st year of high school, which were developed reading skills and students of textual production, giving focus to a textual genre, the postcard. By reading different postcards students were leaded to produce a text of the same genre in LI. The theory presented is based on the works of Dolz, Sehneuwly and Noverraz (2004) on the use and definition of Moreira on SD, and also the guidelines of PCNEM (2000). Through this project it was concluded that the SD as a pedagogical tool not only enabled our work, but gave us the support needed to produce it and run it in a confident manner, helping us achieve our goal, which was to encourage learners to produce the genre postcard in English.
