Abstract

Aiming at the socio-productive reintegration of resettled families, a training about the agroecological production of vegetables was carried out at Uri Rural Production Village - VPR Uri. However, with the abrupt arrival of the new Coronavirus, dialogue with families and monitoring the development of the garden had to be carried out remotely. Therefore, this study aims to analyze whether the use of ICTs contributes to the practice of Popular Education focused on agroecological production of vegetables inthe VPR Uri. Through a WhatsApp group it was found that families were having difficulties in growing plants due to the attack of insects and diseases. In an attempt to solve this problem, videos guiding them on how to prepare biofertilizers and natural pesticides were sent. There was good interaction on the part of the families, however it was not possible to see if the content of all the videos was really understood and if the participants identified the causes of the attacks by insects and diseases on the plants
