Emergency and initial growth of ipê-roxo (Tabebuia heptaphylla (Vell.) Toledo) in different substrates

The objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of different substrates on emergence and initial growth of ipê-roxo seedlings. The treatments used were vermiculite; vermiculite + clay (1:1); vermiculite + sand (1:1); sand + humus (1:1) and sand + organic compound (1:1). For the ipê-roxo seedlings emergency all evaluated substrates were indicated. For initial growth is recommended the use of vermiculite, vermiculite + sand or sand + organic compound.
