Relational-Object specification to Organic Agriculture Traceability

Aiming to increase the credibility and quality of organic products, the producing unities pass through the certification, which among other evaluated requirements it is the process production of traceability. To assure a complete level of traceability from the production network it is essential the data specification to attend the necessities from the concerned agribusiness. This paper presents the specification of a Relational-Object Database to Organic Agriculture Traceability, using as condition the traceability model for this type of agriculture, developed to small producers, and a database model designed for this management. Through of two models, was possible to obtain the specification which is enough to the requests of the certifying ones from small organic producers, related to tracked data, as well as, allow the storage and handling of complex data for instance, geographic location and scanned documents.
