The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of different agricultural management systems in the production of grapevines on the soil microbiota. Two soil samples were collected in vineyards under agroecological and conventional management, and at native forest area in Caxias do Sul, RS. Soil samples were diluted and plated in specific culture, microbial population was quantified and the filamentous fungi were identified. The soil under native vegetation showed the highest amount of filamentous fungi and the lowest of bacteria, comparing to the agricultural management areas. The soil under agroecological management showed a higher bacterial and filamentous fungi density compared to the area under conventional management, indicating that areas under less intensive management favor the stability of edaphic microbial community. We found 26 genera of filamentous fungi: 16 were present in the native forest; 15 in the conventional vineyard and 20 in the agroecological vineyard.
