Abstract

A new method for production and identification of bacterial suspension and evaluation of its potential was observed against a plant bacteria. The suspension obtained by the new form was effective to control Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris both in vitro and in vivo. There is a difference when the suspension is created from the pathogen (PLP) and it was not (PLN). Clear zones was observed in 48 h /28° C in suspensions PLS and PLP. Although PLP and PLS treatments do not differ statistically in relation to the CFU values getting 5x 105 and 1x105respectively, differed from the crude suspension (PLN) and the control. In vivo assessment was with the suspensions that make clear zones in plates. Were added in vivo treatments (PLPS) and (PLPP) with inoculum added to crudes suspension (PLP and PLS) for the increaseof bacteriophages. The disease index was reduced to the control, showing that treatment with phage suspension protects the plant. The disease rates were lower (PLP) and (PLS) with values of 1.46 and 1.40 respectively.
