Abstract

The environmental tensors are defined as any factor that remove energy organism and restrict any stage of its development causing an imbalance in the environment. These tensioners if well defined, can be used in monitoring ecologicals changes and fluid changes constituting an important element in the management of water resources in a region. The Baixada Maranhense, is a complex ecosystem changed every six months by the rain cycle has been greatly altered due to external elements inserted over time. Thus, this study sought through ethnoecology identify and describe the main tensor acting in the Penalva lake. The main results show that most of the impacts are of anthropogenic origin, however work in the environment both positively and negatively.
