Generosity and Solidarity in the Work 'Notebook for an Ethics' of Sartre

We will present an alternative reading to the Sartre’s theory on otherness from the work Notebooks for an Ethics. We will demonstrate that the French philosopher described the possibility of establishing positive relationships from generosity after moral conversion in the part "II – Appeal, acceptance and refusal". We will see that the appeal realizes the recognition of the other situated freedom, unveils its ends in the confidence of its understanding and, when accepted, establishes relations of solidarity between two freedoms engaged in the construction of the same purpose.
