This essay builds a path to understanding the Postgraduate Program in Literature at the UnB, also known as PósLit, through the memories of a Mexican student who studied there from 2019 to 2022. Without attempting to be theoretical, it highlights the affections and sensations (Deleuze, 2010) that academic and communal life left on a foreigner. For that reason, the text draws a comparison with one of Mexico's most canonical works, Pedro Páramo, as a creative axis. Additionally, the text highlights several academic facts that establish PósLit as a leading educational institution, making the program attractive to both domestic and international students. Finally, it briefly presents outstanding students in literary criticism and creation, especially those who have impacted the professional and creative life of the Mexican author.
