The 2023 demographic census and its possible effects on Brazilian libraries

The editorial comments on the possible impacts on Brazilian libraries of the demographic census carried out in 2023. The aspects analyzed were the drop in the fertility rate and the aging of the population. In addition, the articles included in the second issue of 2023 of the Ibero-American Journal of Information Science are commented on.
