In this text, we reflect on the creative process developed in the Thematic Seminar Creating Voices, Narrating Women, taught in 2023 in the Graduate Program in Performing Arts at Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC). The discipline was configured as a practical creative laboratory in which integrative vocal practices were studied, and vocal poetics applied to storytelling for a possible feminist narrative theater, in a search for the poetic-political-integrative dimension of the voice in storytelling of stories that heal. In this process, we associated life stories and songs with the text A Room of One's Own, by Virginia Woolf. Theoretically, we weave reflections from practical experiences in dialogue with some Feminist Critical Theory authors. At the end of the course, we present the performance soirée Narrar Mulheres, at UDESC CEART, in the city of Florianópolis.
