The Actor's voice in a digital environment

Abstract

The sanitary measures to contain the pandemic imposed unprecedented experiences in the theatrical field: artists and teachers needed to adapt to the remote and digital medium. This interview addresses the solutions and difficulties encountered by Edézio Aragão, Gregory Slivar and Raul Teixeira, in the Sound Designer Course at the SP Escola de Teatro during this period. The approach made for this publication privileges the relationship between the Sound Designer and the Actor, since his voice became obligatorily mediated. The interest of the case of this school is that the courses work in an integrated way, which allows us to observe how these experiences crossed the formation of the actors from a little explored point of view, that of the Theatre Sound Designer.

Ana Cristine Wegner, Université de Poitiers - UP, Poitiers, França

Ana Cristine Wegner - Doutora em Artes Cênicas (2017) pela Université Paris 8 em cotutela de tese com Universidade de São Paulo. É formada em Licenciatura em Artes Cênicas pela Faculdade de Artes do Paraná (2003). Suas pesquisas e publicações abordam a voz nas artes cênicas em perspectivas estéticas, criativas e pedagógicas. Atualmente leciona na Université de Poitiers (como Attachée Temporaire d’Enseignement et de Recherche). Concebeu e coorganizou o colóquio internacional “Pratiques de la voix sur scène, de l'apprentissage la performance vocale” (2015). Atuou em diversas companhias entre elas, a Companhia Silenciosa (Curitiba), da qual foi cofundadora. Tem experiência com dublagem e voz-off. Desenvolve atualmente um projeto de Novação aprovado pela CAPES. O presente trabalho foi realizado com apoio da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - Brasil (CAPES).

Rafaella Uhiara, Université de Poitiers - UP, Poitiers, França

Bacharel em Artes Cênicas com habilitação em Direção Teatral pela USP. Mestre e Doutora em Estudos Teatrais pela Université Sorbonne Nouvelle. É afiliada aos laboratórios de pesquisa THALIM (França) e Centro de Documentação Teatral da USP e integra o grupo de pesquisa em Sonologia da USP.
