Avanços e desafios da Nova Sociologia Econômica: notas sobre os estudos sociológicos do mercado

O texto analisa a primeira fase da Nova Sociologia
Econômica através da revisão dos quatro enfoques que
marcaram os estudos recentes do mercado. Essa primeira fase
caracterizou-se pelo rompimento do pacto parsoniano de
convívio pacífico com a teoria neoclássica e fundamentou sua
identidade em contraposição aos pressupostos do
individualismo metodológico. O desafio atual da Nova
Sociologia Econômica é avançar a análise das relações
econômicas além das afirmações de que a esfera econômica
está socialmente construída, que as estruturas sociais e
instituições são importantes para a ação econômica e que a
racionalidade é uma modalidade de comportamento entre
outras. Discute algumas questões que são parte da agenda atual
da nova Sociologia Econômica e os conceitos centrais da
network analysis.
