Abstract

This article is a part of the work carried out in the development and application of the educational product carried out with the National Professional Master in Physics Teaching - MNPEF, at the State University of Santa Cruz in Ilhéus - BA. The objective was to analyze how the application of the active methodology of Team-Based Learning can collaborate in the search for meaningful learning from the perspective of Ausubel and Novak's theories, and thus promote and contribute to better and more collaborative learning among students of High School. Medium, with the theme “The bicycle and Physics, applying the concepts of circular motion”. The research is justified in view of the changes observed in the profiles of today's students in relation to the traditional education still present in our schools. This methodology was developed in the 1970s by Larry Michaelsen and favors the social interaction of students with a focus on improving content learning collaboratively and in teams, allowing students to reflect on their learning process. The didactic sequence consists in the application of the methodology in all its phases, in the application of experiments with the use of the bicycle and in activities proposed for the previous preparation, within the perspective of promoting the theoretical-practical interaction. With the use of the didactic sequence, it was observed that interest in the content was stimulated, thus providing potentially significant learning, better interaction between peers, and greater responsibility in relation to the teaching-learning process itself.
