Abstract

This work was developed based on the interventions contents in the VI Physics School Roberto Salmeron, held at the University of Brasilia on august 2017. We analyze the characteristics of the initial and continuous formation of Physics teachers adequate to the needs of the beginning of the XXI Century, which is strongly influenced by the results of educational research. At the end, as an example of classroom practice for fitting students mental models to scientific models, we explore an analogy to workout the first contact of the students with the study of simple electric circuits.
