MANAGEMENT OF NURSING PERSONNEL IN TEACHING HOSPITALS: INTEGRATION REVIEW

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to prospect the actions of personnel management developed by nurses in Brazilian teaching hospitals, based on research articles published in the 2007-2016 period in the LILACS database. It is a integrative review of the literature, based on the Ganong steps, with analysis guided by Minayo's operational proposal, conducted in Atlas TI software. The period elected was first understood between 2007 and 2014, after which an update of the review was carried out, which included the years 2015 and 2016. Nine articles constitute the sample. From the analysis process, three categories emerged: leadership actions of the nurse manager of people in teaching hospitals; continuing education actions in teaching hospitals; dimensioning in the management of nursing personnel in teaching hospitals. Demonstrating that nursing staff management in teaching hospitals involves leadership, people sizing, training and team development, and planning. In this way, nursing performs actions of people management in organizations, however, there are actions that do not make up the nurse's work process or are not totally under their governance.
