Es fundamental desarrollar intervenciones que aborden las dificultades de los docentes para abordar los problemas de conducta infantil en las escuelas, en vista de su impacto a lo largo del desarrollo. Se evaluó el programa Facilitando el contacto con los Alumnos - FAVA, para docentes de los primeros años, considerando un grupo control GC y dos experimentales, siendo que GE1 recibió la intervención completa, contemplando psicoeducación sobre modelo cognitivo, instrucciones de apoyo al desarrollo socioemocional y modificación. de la conducta del estudiante, y GE2, que no recibió el contenido del modelo cognitivo. Los resultados señalan que en GE1 hubo una reducción de los problemas de conducta, en GC su aumento y en GE2 no hubo diferencia. Por tanto, el conocimiento sobre el modelo cognitivo y las estrategias para modificar pensamientos disfuncionales del docente asociados a los otros contenidos, llevaron a la reducción de los problemas de conducta del niño en el aula, pero no impactaron la autoeficacia del docente.
