THE CONSTITUTION OF THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD:
STUDY OF JAPANESE CONSTITUTIONALISM

This article proposes to investigate the constitucional paradigm of the other side of the world, focusing on Japan experience, from the comparison of national and international academic productions about the political and legal constitutional consolidation of Japanese state. Therefore, we first study the country's constitutional history, the main legal norms produced and the role of institutional actors. Next, we focus on the Japanese Supreme Constitutional Court and its jurisdictional activity.
