Abstract

The developments of the network communications, as well as the need for costs reduction by the enterprises are creating a growing demand for the home office system. In this scenario, the recent labor reform gave special attention to the question concerning the home office, desiring to expand the use of this system by the corporations. However, the way that the labor reform rules the home office system has the potential to affect the labor environment around the workers and to bring them damages on their mental and physical health. So, the following article will show the risks brought by the home office system as it is fitted by the labor reform which affects directly the workers health and the labor environment. The article will also show how those rules concerning the home office collide with the principles set out in the Federal Constitution.
