THE TUTORIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM AS AN INSTRUMENT FOR THE CONCRETIZATION OF A DEMOCRATIC UNIVERSITY

This work deals with the Tutorial Education Program of University of Brasília's Law School
as an interactive space which promotes the university tripod ”“ teaching, research and outreach
”“ coupled with values stemming from The Law Found on the Street, from public legal
education and from knowledge horizontality, which are beyond the University boundaries. It
also exposes the activities accomplished by the group, willing to demonstrate its commitment
with the values previously mentioned. Lastly, the whole importance of PET’s space is
analyzed paired to the current political events within the scope of the Law School and the
University.
