The alternative control of Aspergillus spp. of brazilian nut almonds (Bertholletia excelsa) can minimize the use of agrochemicals and avoid damage to the environment and the farmer. This work aimed to evaluate the antifungal action of andiroba (Carapa guianensis Aubl.) and pracaxi (Pentachletra macroloba) oil and propolis extract on the mycelial growth of Aspergillus spp. The oils and propolis extract in the concentrations of 0, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64 mL L-1 were mixed with BDA medium, for the inoculation of the fungus. The fungus development was determined by measuring the mycelial diameter after 24, 48, and 96 h of inoculation. The design was randomized with 6 treatments and 7 repetitions. The results indicated that the using of propolis from 4 mL L-1 was more efficient than the dose of 64 mL L-1 of oils in inhibiting the growth of Aspergillus spp. Thus, propolis can be considered promising as a natural antifungal to control Aspergillus spp.
