Abstract

Several factors control the speed of decomposition and the liberation of nutritious ones for organicresidues. Among these factors, they detach the degree of humificação and the chemical nature of the residues. Theobjectives of this study characterized the organic fractions, proportions of humic substances, tenors of total organiccarbon(TOC), as well as they valued the degree of humification, in organic residues of origins and differentcomposition. There was analysed the total organic carbon (TOC) and the fractions of COT: C- humic acid fraction (C-AH) and C-fraction fúlvic acid(C-FA), through which (GP) was calculated the polimerization degree. The maturing ofall the evaluated compounds was confirmed by the reduction of the tenors of total organic carbon, reduction of thefraction C-FA, increases in the fraction C-HA and increase of the polimerization. During the process of compostingmodifications place in the humic fractions distribution, when increase of the substances is taking place húmic, regarding the fúlvic for all the evaluated compounds. The predominance of húmic acids on the fulvic acids in the endof the compostagem is an indicative of humification adapted of the evaluated residues. The composition from the rawmaterials has influence in the speed and intensity of the transformations of the fractions of the organic matter.
