Abstract

This article sought to identify the main components of an ecological dehesa in Spain. In this respect, it was possible to describe dehesa as a broad production system with multiple use of the territory, discoursing about its production, biological, environmental and social benefits, faced problems and aspects related to the sustainable management of the production.
