Abstract

The disordered implantation of the farming one in areas under open pasture vegetation caused deep modifications in the natural environment and the forest riparian had not escaped of this degradation caused for the man. In this context, in a part of stream Lanhoso microbasin, situated in Unit I of the IFET-Uberaba-MG, the diagnosis of occured deteriorations in the forest riparian of the stream became aiming at restorat its natural vegetation. Visits had been carried through techniques for topographical characterization and of the current situation of the area, elaboration of the environmental diagnosis, to consider measured mitigate of the found ambient problems. It measured outflow of the stream to evaluate irrigation potential and had become photographic registers. Through the diagnosis it was observed presence of cattle in pastures to the edges and deposit sediments of the stream, occurrence of laminated erosion and gully, absence of conservacionist handling and inexistence of forest riparian. An outflow was observed 427,2 l s-1 enough to take care of the irrigation necessities. A 1,16 ha area was delimited (388 x 30 m), where the average width of the stream was of 3,96m. Will be necessary 1674 changes for the vegetation restorat, of these, 1004 (60%) will be of pioneering species (P), 335 (20%) secondary (s) and 335 (20%) Climácic (C). The implantation of the farming one caused environment deteriorations in the microbasin area; most of the vegetal covering is located in the stream headboard, being minimum or inexistent in the microbasin remain.
