Resumo

O Plan Ceibal é uma política social, tecnológica e educativa que promove o uso da tecnologia nas salas de aula uruguaias. Em seu texto (Ball 2006), o programa busca democratizar o acesso à tecnologia a fim de apagar as diferenças socioeconômicas. Porém, como prática (Mortimer y Wortham 2015), sua implementação produz significados (alguns deles “inesperados” do ponto de vista oficial) que podem eventualmente (re)construir assimetrias nas identidades de estudantes. A pesquisa de cunho etnográfico-discursivo e sociossemiótico que dá origem a este artigo explora, por meio de análise escalar, como se (re)constrói a identidade de um grupo de estudantes no âmbito dessa política. A análise de diversas escalas espaço-temporais co-implicadas sustenta que, em seus posicionamentos ideológicos, diversos atores sociais constroem a identidade de estudantes e de sua sala de aula de tal maneira que, ao mesmo tempo, é possível representá-los ”“ quase paradoxalmente ”“ em um estado de déficit (linguístico) e de vantagem (curricular).

Profesor Adjunto del Instituto de Lingüística de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación, Universidad de la República (Uruguay) e Investigador Activo Nivel I del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores de la Agencia Nacional de Investigación e Innovación.
