It presents a reflection on the educational activity in cultural spaces considering the influences of the art market today. For this, the article begins with the concept of three central lements to the discussion - culture, education and art - in order to give consistency to their lead - cultural spaces, educational activities
and the art market. The link between these elements is thought from the category work in view of the commodification of culture, the growing links between education and social accountability and specificity of the Brazilian context.
