The esthesia of thought
Keywords:
Aesthetics. Body. Thought. Language.Abstract
Using an introduction to the work and the trajectory of the French writer Antonin Artaud (1896-1948), this paper intends to question the manner the poet’s writing
deals with some long-held notions of the Western culture, such as: body, mind, sensitivity and intellect. Focused on what the poet called “broken language” and “erosion of though” will be possible to understand the relations between this work with preconceived notions of aesthetics and thought.
