Ethical guidelines and policies against plagiarism
Belas Infiéis Ethical Guidelines
1 Belas Infiéis editors work on the prevention of bad practices and unethical behavior in the release of its issues and do not tolerate any kind of plagiarism.
2 When submitting manuscripts to be evaluated by Belas Infiéis, the author(s):
- Declare that the manuscript contents are original and are of his/her/their original creation, being entirely responsible for if there is an objection by third parties.
- Declare that the manuscript has not been published, completely or partially, in other language. If manuscript has been published in other language, please, submit it as translated article or literary translation.
- Declare that the manuscript was not been submitted to another journal simultaneously.
- Is/Are committed to inform the journal of any kind of error or inaccuracy in his/her/their manuscript (published, in evaluation or in editing) and to collaborate with the editors to make due corrections (whether in evaluation or editing) or erratum/retraction (after publication).
- Declare that there is no conflict of interest regarding the published work.
- Authorize its release if it is accepted for publication without any kind of monatary compensation.
- Agree to assign non-exclusive rights to publication to the journal, remaining free to make his/her/their manuscript available in other media as long as the publication of the first version in Belas Infiéis journal is mentioned. He/She/They also authorize Belas Infiéis to assign his/her/their text for reproduction in content indexers, virtual libraries and similar platforms.
3 The reviewers commit it:
- Evaluate the papers submitted to the journal objectively and for their intellectual content, with no discrimination of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, geographical origin or political thinking.
- Treat with confidentiality the authors' manuscript. Manuscripts will be subject to evaluation or discussion with third parties only if authorized by the journal's editors.
- Inform the editors if the submitted manuscript has previously published content - by the author or by third parties, since the authors must ensure that such content is at all times presented with the respective bibliographic reference, indicating its origin.
- Warn editors that the article violates the journal's ethical principles when there is substantial similarity or evidence that the article under review has already been published in another medium.
We recommend all authors to consult the guidelines of Comittee on Publication Ethics(COPE) before submitting texts for evaluation.
