There were two stages of analysis of the corpus, the first quantitative in which, in 48 documents, the main concepts of memory were analyzed, number of documents per year and main authors cited. After applying a new filter it was possible to identify which documents worked the concepts of memory in a more thorough way and this corpus of 17 documents was submitted to a qualitative analysis that allowed to compare the approach used in the texts with what was pointed out in the theoretical foundation of this article . It is concluded that there is a need for theoretical-conceptual maturation regarding memory studies from the point of view of ISKO-Brazil chapter participants.
