The Constituent Assembly and the Constitution: The Chapter on Science and Technology

Abstract

This article discusses the process of elaboration of the new Constitution,
specifically referring to the chapter on science and technology, its meaning
and the subsequent policies in this sector adopted by the present government.
The social actors are the scientific community, the State and political parties, and scientific and technological policy is analysed within the scope of
its possibilities in the Brazilian context.
