Medo do Crime, Desordens e Coesão Social no Distrito Federal

Neste artigo analisamos o medo do crime entre os moradores do Distrito Federal utilizando os dados da Pesquisa Distrital de Vitimização, realizada em 2015. Inicialmente apresentamos as principais abordagens sobre o medo do crime e seus achados mais importantes. Em seguida, após descrever o medo do crime entre os moradores do DF, exploramos sua correlação com alguns fatores ambientais: a presença de desordens, a coesão social e a qualidade dos serviços públicos. Verificamos que dentre esses fatores ambientais, as desordens e a qualidade dos serviços públicos estão mais fortemente associadas ao medo do crime, ao passo que a coesão social se mostrou menos importante para explicar o fenômeno.
