Abstract

This article aims to present a cube with a targeted distribution of the thermodynamic potential energies (E-digraph) in order to complement the cubes of Pate (1999), Kerr & Macosko (2011), Pogliani (2018) and Kocik (2018) and proposes an alternative model for obtaining the Maxwell’s Identities, as well as for obtaining the Euler, Gibbs, Gibbs-Duhen and Euler Differential Relations, without using Legendre’s Transformations and to combine, two by two, the free variables of thermodynamics to facilitate the understanding of the meanings of thermal, chemical and mechanical energies. This model can be complemented with a reference system directed to Thermodynamic Potentials (S-digraph), in order to continue the work of Massieu (1869, apud BALIAN, 2017).
