MODELAGEM NUMÉRICA E EXPERIMENTAL DO CAMINHAR HUMANO SOBRE PASSARELAS DE PEDESTRES

O objetivo deste trabalho de pesquisa diz respeito ao desenvolvimento de uma metodologia de análise com base na realização de testes experimentais e modelagem numérica, no que tange avaliação da resposta estrutural dinâmica de passarelas de pedestres, a partir do emprego de modelos biodinâmicos acoplados, levando-se em consideração as características dinâmicas dos pedestres (massa, rigidez e amortecimento). O sistema estrutural em estudo tem como base uma passarela com 24,4 m de comprimento, localizada na Faculdade de Engenharia (FEN) da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Brasil. Para a modelagem numérica do sistema são empregadas técnicas usuais de discretização, via método dos elementos finitos (MEF), por meio do programa ANSYS. Inúmeros testes experimentais foram realizados sobre o modelo estrutural, de maneira a calibrar os resultados numéricos. Com base na metodologia de análise desenvolvida neste estudo, a resposta dinâmica da passarela investigada (frequências naturais e acelerações de pico) é comparada com os valores limites propostos por normas e recomendações de projeto, objetivando uma avaliação do desempenho da estrutura, no que diz respeito ao conforto humano e, também, ao problema de vibrações excessivas.
